These fields were fertile long ago IMG_0454
When I could labor hours ten.
Now they trip me, walking slow,
For no more harvests I will know.
Where was this Shadow Woman then?

Was she in the dew-wet dawn?
Waiting there and knowing how
When days had passed and years had gone
My visage would become so wan
For I am the Shadow Woman now.
