Source of Love and Hope,
Keep me from cynicism 
and loneliness

From coveting my neighbor’s 
Bouquet of roses and 
Box of chocolate truffles.

Source of Love and Compassion,
Grant me the courage to taste and see, 
Love is abundant even in solitude.

Love is not a treasure to 
Seek and possess,
But a gift already given.

Love is the constant river of prayer
Connecting my soul 
To the soul of the universe.
