Blessed One who makes peace in the high heavens,
we are filled with anxiety and fear.

The country that we love is broken and lies in pieces,
we have lost sight of our common needs.

Give us strength to face these divisive days
with humility of spirit and clarity of vision.

Open our hearts to healing,
strengthen our commitment to justice,

Speak to us again of welcoming the stranger,
caring for the orphan & redeeming the lost.

Dream with us again the promise of our nation,
